Meet BreeAnna
Hi! I’m BreeAnna Hilsenrath, makeup/hair stylist and owner of BHils Beauty! I am a Libra, identical twin, and chihuahua LOVER— one of my babies (Roo) goes with me nearly everywhere, so you may get to meet him!
I was born in Newark, New Jersey and grew up in Colorado before moving to North Alabama in 2016. My love of beauty started early as I used my twin sister as a model for makeup/hair practice from a young age. It became more than just “covering acne or hiding insecurities” in fact, it was never about that. It has become a creative and emotional outlet. It’s never been a job- it’s a PASSION that I am lucky enough to have grown into a full-time business.
I quickly fell in love with the way my friends/clients would light up and knew from then on I knew I wanted to spread that feeling of empowerment to as many faces as possible.
After moving to Alabama, I worked hard to network and I now work closely with multiple photographers for senior work, headshots, beauty/editorial work, boudoir, weddings and more on a weekly basis and have traveled to many different states for my services.
I have worked on large union film projects as well as smaller independent films, music videos, etc- no job is too big or too small! I pride myself in my sanitation practices and am a Certified COVID Compliance Officer to ensure everyone's safety on set or in my chair.
Even though I am mostly self-taught, I love to keep learning new techniques and tips from other leading artists in our industry and am ALWAYS devoting my time to enhance my knowledge and skills to perfect my craft. I love glamming men/women (no discrimination here) of all ages, skin tones and walks of life.
